OIXPORTS is a simple linux perl script for the admin that's in a hurry to monitor every port in a router or switch. The goal is to make the setup as simple and fast as possible, there's nothing to compile, and nothing is configurable. Simply extract everything. Just list your devices, ip address, and snmp community to the config file and run it every 5 minutes from your crontab. This script depends on PERL and the net-snmp perl module already installed in your system. It's FREE. Hope you find this script helpful.
